“I’ve been sketching cars ever since I was a little boy. There is no ‘correct’ way to sketch,” says Gregory, who is self-taught.

“I prefer to sketch with pen on paper. Firstly, it’s important to lay the foundations with the wheel position. It helps to get the proportions right for the rest of the car.

Emirates Motor Company brings Iron Mountain to Marina Mall for ‎‎#GChallenge ‎

More than 1000 car-loving adventurers were treated to a thrilling experience over the weekend from Emirates Motor Company (EMC), who set up what is known as “The Iron Schöckl” challenge.   

EMC brought its Iron Schöckl Activation, a man-made moving iron mountain, to Abu Dhabi’s streets, showing the fearlessness of both the people at the carpark and the Mercedes-Benz AMG G500 4×4 vehicle, more commonly known as the G-Class, G-Wagon (or desert king vehicles!)

Formula 1 ace Jenson Button test drives new career as British Airways pilot

Formula 1 star Jenson Button enjoyed racing through the skies this week after piloting a British Airways A380 flight simulator at London’s Heathrow Airport.

The former World Champion – who recently announced his retirement from the track – spent 90 minutes perfecting take-off, cruise and landing of the world’s largest commercial aircraft.

 The simulator at British Airways’ state-of-the-art Flight Training Center near London’s Heathrow Airport – where the airline’s 4,200 professional pilots are trained – uses cutting edge motion, audio and graphics technology to deliver a completely immersive experience.

Volvo Cars celebrates 20 years of All-Wheel Drive in the snow

Volvo Cars, the premium car maker, is celebrating 20 years of mechanical All-Wheel Drive (AWD) by putting some of its most capable cars through their paces on the frozen lakes around the Northern Swedish ski resort of Åre.

The Swedish car maker is running a winter test drive showcasing its leading mechanical and new electric All-Wheel Drive solutions on the all-road, all-weather XC90, V90 Cross Country and V40 Cross Country models.

Renault-Nissan and Microsoft partner to deliver the future of connected driving

The Renault-Nissan Alliance and Microsoft Corp. have signed a global, multiyear agreement to partner on next-generation technologies to advance connected driving experiences worldwide.

The companies will work together to develop next-generation connected services for cars powered by Microsoft Azure, one of the company’s intelligent cloud offerings. These new services will improve customer experience via advanced navigation, predictive maintenance and vehicle centric services, remote monitoring of car features, external mobile experiences and over-the-air updates.

Volvo Trucks’ New Live Test ‘The Flying Passenger’ Spotlights Unique Powertrain Performance in Spectacular Paragliding Stunt

Volvo Trucks is back with yet another spectacular Live Test. During the breath-taking ride, the Volvo FH tows the paraglider up a steep mountain road and under the narrow opening of an overhanging bridge. The tight space calls for high precision driving at a constant cruising speed without any room for error. The test was set up to demonstrate Volvo Trucks’ unique power-train, fitted with I-Shift Dual Clutch, enabling excellent performance whilst at the same time considerably lowering fuel consumption.

2017 Nissan Rogue takes over Los Angeles Auto Show with help from stormtroopers

Nissan unveiled the last of four new vehicles debuting at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2017 Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition. The dramatic reveal featured a special interactive presentation of the Intelligent Safety Shield technologies available in the redesigned 2017 Rogue (known as X-Trail in the Middle East)  against a high-action video. The video was followed by a drive-out of a pair of the Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition vehicles accompanied by battle-ready stormtroopers.
