Largest AMG Logo in Dubai Spotted from Space
The stunt symbolised the importance of AMG in the UAE market and its plans to expand its product portfolio even further. Of the landmark undertaking, Ivo Kapitzki, the General Manager of the Passenger Cars Division in Gargash Enterprises, remarked: “We are thrilled to have been able to execute such a stunt in Dubai using AMG vehicles, further demonstrating the brand’s commitment to going above and beyond for its customers, and we were even more excited to have our AMG customers with us during that record-breaking moment. ”
The celebration was extended further with the unveiling of the all-new Mercedes-AMG GT C at the AMG Performance Centre based in the Gargash Enterprises showroom, Sheikh Zayed Road.
The brand new Mercedes-AMG is designed for the ultimate open-air freedom, transforming from a coupé to an open-top sports car in just 11 seconds. And to add more convenience to the experience, the car seat is optionally available with the AIRSCARF neck-level heating system, which makes open-air driving enjoyable in cooler outdoor temperatures.
It is also equipped with the all-new RACE transmission mode, which enables the driver to quickly shift between speeds – and with a V8 4.0l twin turbo engine, the car can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds while generating 577 hp. Once the speed of the AMG GT C Roadster exceeds 100 km/h, the system turns the rear wheels
in the same direction as the front wheels. This noticeably improves handling stability. At the same time, the lateral force on the rear wheels builds up considerably faster when changing direction, which makes the response to steering inputs quicker.
That’s really awesome!
Very cool idea…
Very nice logo and great idea, indeed.
OMG! 125-metres long, created with 65 AMG cars at the Dubai Autodrome!
I think the logo catches the whole attention so that one can see nothing else….
