EMC brought its Iron Schöckl Activation, a human-made moving iron mountain, to Abu Dhabi’s streets, showing the fearlessness of both the people at the carpark and the Mercedes-Benz AMG G500 4×4 vehicle, more commonly known as the G-Class, G-Wagon (or desert king vehicles!)

Hundreds of Abu Dhabi residents and visitors lined up to get the first-hand experience to not only witness the cruising capabilities of this luxe car, but also the raw power that comes with forcing the vehicle to undertake a 100% mountain climb – bringing out the thrill in everyone’s inner child.

The adrenaline-fused challenge gave passengers a brief heart-stopping moment, where the G-Class hovered in the air on the moving Iron Mountain, before the car tilted to make its 45-degree descent – to put in perspective, Ferrari World’s record-breaking rollercoaster, the Flying Aces, has a 51-degree incline.

Model and TV Presenter, Larissa Serg, who experienced the exhilarating thrill-ride posted her disbelief on Instagram that she got to “…experience 45 degrees angle with Mercedes”.
